The song is about falling in love for the wrong person, and not being able to stop yourself from falling back to them again and again. I feel like I could go on and on and on about the different meanings each line has, but I'd rather just let the song speak for itself. Music video coming shortly!
I chose to let you guys name your price because I wanted to make sure that my music could be as freely distributed as possible - you are more than welcome to download it for free. However, any donation you can make to my music is also incredibly appreciated. Launching yourself as an independent artist is certainly not the cheapest endeavor, and it's only been by your guys' love and support that I've been able to afford the equipment and resources that made this song, and the songs to come, possible.
Try to knock me down
But you won't get that far.
You're pushing me away,
Away from where you are.
You say it's out of my control,
You've never said something more true.
I just wish that I had gotten more,
And that you had got a clue
I feel like no one really gets
How some of us can feel
When all that's ever heard's a whisper,
And all that's ever felt's not real.
And now I'm falling, falling
Falling out of view
And now I'm falling, falling
Wishing I'd never fell for you
'Cause when you're falling, you're stalling,
You never see the ground below.
Teach me to fly, stop my fall.
Should I really be this numb?
My skin is cold upon your touch.
Is this really all there is?
Then why should I care this much?
It's like you're pulling my heart in,
and I can't fight gravity.
"Maybe this time will change"-
A lie I never seem to mean.
I know you're really just the same,
And you don't want something more
Than to hold me for a night,
And walk yourself out the door.
And now I'm falling, falling
Falling out of view
And now I'm falling, falling
Wishing I'd never fell for you
'Cause when you're falling, you're stalling,
You never see the ground below.
Teach me to fly, stop my fall.
Stop My Fall (x3)
And now I'm falling, falling
Falling back to you
And now I'm falling, falling
Wishing I'd never fell for you
'Cause when you're falling, you're stalling,
You never see the ground below.
Teach me to fly, stop my fall.
